Intended purpose

The pre-shaped 4Dmeshes (Biomesh SR) are for laparoscopic treatment designed for the repair and reinforcement of inguinal and femoral hernias.

Functional description

The 4DMesh are semi-resorbable reinforcement parietal implants. It is preformed and has a 3D shape and are to be specifically used for laparoscopic use. A blue monofilament orientation marker is sewn in the mesh to facilitate the placement of the implant.
