Intended purpose

4DVentral® is a midweight hydrophilic partially resorbable implant designed for the repair of ventral hernia or other fascial defects that require the addition of an extraperitoneal reinforcing or bridging material to obtain the desired surgical result. The 4D Ventral® implant is designed for extraperitoneal implantation only.

Functional description

The 4DVENTRAL® implant is designed for the repair of ventral hernia that require the addition of an extra-peritoneal reinforcing or bridging material to obtain the desired surgical result. The 4DVENTRAL® device is a semi-resorbable reinforcement parietal implant. The knit which forms the mesh is made of 60% Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) and 40% Polypropylene (PP).
