E1 Ringloc acetabular liner - Acetabulum prosthesis

Intended purpose

The E1 Ringloc acetabular liner is used with other hip prostheses as part of a total joint system in primary and revision cases. The E1 Ringloc acetabular liner replaces the acetabulum articulating surface and is made of highly cross-linked UHMWPE and alpha-tocopherol.

Functional description

The E1 Acetabular liner provide increased dislocation resistance for patients with the use of large femoral heads in smaller acetabular shells. The E1 (Antioxidant Infused Technology) Acetabular Liners are composed of UHMWPE and Vitamin E (?-tocopherol). The Vitamin E infusion helps prevents oxidative degradation of the polyethylene material of the liner.
