Programmer Wand Kit - Active-implantable-device communicator

Intended purpose

The Programmer Wand is used to program the IPG or trial stimulator and retrieves diagnostic information from either the trial stimulator and/or IPG.

Functional description

The Programmer Wand houses the telemetry circuitry for programming the IPG wirelessly; this radio frequency (RF) telemetry link operates up to a distance of 1.5m. The wand is connected to the laptop through a USB port; the USB port is used for both data transfer and to power the Programmer Wand.
