Intended purpose

The Evoke System is a spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system which stimulates the nerves in the spinal cord, measures their responses and automatically adjusts the stimulation level accordingly. It is intended to aid in the management of chronic intractable pain of the lower back and/or legs. The Evoke Closed Loop Stimulator (CLS) is an implantable spinal cord stimulator intended for long-term spinal cord stimulation therapy as part of the Evoke System. The Evoke CLS is implanted under the skin and connects to the percutaneous leads to deliver closed loop enabled or disabled spinal cord stimulation therapy.

Functional description

The Evoke Closed Loop Stimulator (CLS) is an implantable, rechargeable spinal cord stimulator that can connect to one or two leads implanted under the skin. The CLS delivers electrical stimulation through the leads to neural tissue and measures neural activity. It is capable of providing closed-loop stimulation through a feedback control mechanism.
