Intended purpose

Indicated for use in reconstructive procedures for the repair of congenital or acquired cardiac and great vessel malformations or pathology.

Functional description

The valved conduit consist of porcine valve fitted into woven polyester conduit. An external radiopaque reinforcing ring is located at the level of the valve annulus to prevent loss of leaflet coaptation. Model 150 is a valved conduit with a modified orifice. The proximal and distal ends of the conduit are constructed of 10 cm (relaxed length) woven conduit grafts anastomosed to the short centre section containing the bioprosthetic valve. This device is MR conditional.
