Intended purpose

A device used to measure blood pressure and pulse rate, comprising a cuff to restrict blood flow, and a monitor to measure pressure and pulse rate. The device may also detect the appearance of irregular heartbeats or atrial fibrillation and give a warning signal to consult a doctor for diagnosis.
