Intended purpose

The medisana BU 586 voice is an over-the-counter electronic blood pressure monitor intended for measuring human's systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate by using an oscillometrique technique by means of a cuff, which needs to be fitted on the upper arm. All values can be read out in one LCD panel. The useable cuff circumference is 23 to 43 cm. The device is intended for adult indoor use at home only. The device is able to detect irregular heartbeat and indicate this with a symbol.
