Intended purpose
The autotransfusion kit is a collection of sterile disposable plastic tube segments and associated items (eg connectors, adapters, re infusion bags, reservoir container) designed to collect, defoam, filter and handle the blood being processed in an autotransfusion unit for blood recovery before the blood is re infused into the patient.
