Intended purpose

A dedicated needle used as part of a blood collection set for the drawing of blood, for the routine collection of multiple blood specimens from a patient. It could be blood collection needle with safety cover or venous butterfly/scalp vein needle. It should be used by a healthcare professional, in combination with holder and evacuated blood collection tubes. This is a single-use device.
