MUTARS RS coupling device screw - Body femoral extension

Intended purpose

A connecting screw component of the MUTARS system. Primary indication for the use of the MUTARS system is after bone resection because of tumour.Further indications for the use of the MUTARS system are massive bone loss,such as Morbus Gorham or for revision arthroplasty and for the prosthetic treatment in case of fractures, pseudarthrosis and arthrosis.

Functional description

Composed of TiAl6V4 alloy. Sand blasted surface. The MUTARS® RS Coupling Device Screw connects and secures the MUTARS RS Coupling Device with respective combined component stems and Standard components. The diameter of the thread is 8 mm and of the head 14 mm. The length of the thread itself is 15 mm in all sizes. The pitch of the thread is 1 mm.
