BonAlive putty - Bone matrix implant, synthetic

Intended purpose

BonAlive® putty is indicated for bony voids and gaps.

Functional description

A bioactive, osteoconductive and osteostimulative synthetic bone void filler, made of bioactive glass granules and spherical glass. Contains a temporary water-soluble synthetic binder (PEGs and glycerol) which is absorbed leaving behind the bioactive glass permitting tissue infiltration. Granules stimulate growth of new bone in the presence of bone-forming cells and resorb during the healing process. Presented in a syringe applicator in a ready to use paste.
