Intended purpose
MASTERGRAFT Granules are intended to help fill voids or gaps in bone, which may be surgically created osseous defects, or osseous defects caused by traumatic injury to the bone. The granules are indicated only for bony voids or gaps that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure. Additionally the granules can be used with autograft as a bone graft extender. The granules are gently packed into bony voids or gaps of the skeletal system. These defects may be surgically created osseous defects or osseous defects created from trauma injury to the bone. The granules provide bone void filler that resorbs and is replaced with bone during the healing process. Specific indications for use include oral/maxillofacial augmentation or reconstruction.
