Intended purpose

To deliver and remove respiratory gases from a patient via a system of tubing and connectors, or to deliver and remove respiratory gases from a patient via a system of tubing and connectors and to maintain the patient temperature and humidity within the inspiratory limb, and expiratory gases so as to minimise ‘rain-out’, or to deliver a nebulised radioactive solution to a patient via a breathing system.
