Intended purpose

This cannula is intended for use in venting the pulmonary artery during cardiopulmonary bypass.

Functional description

The cannula consists of a flexible plastic tube that terminates in a ribbed female luer. A soft, pliable,tapered tip and a introducer needle aid in the insertion of the cannula. A moveable collar acts as a depth marker.
