Intended purpose

Intended for use in venous drainage via the right atrium and inferior vena cava simultaneously during cardiopulmonary bypass surgery for up to 6 hours.

Functional description

The cannula is a wirewound PVC body with side ports in the distal tip, a ported atrial basket, and 0.95 cm (0.37 in) to 1.27 cm (0.50 in) connection site on selected models. Insertion depth marks aid in positioning the cannula.
