Intended purpose

Cannulae are used to cannulate vessels, perfuse vessels or organs, and/or connect with accessory extracorporeal equipment. The cannula introducer is intended to facilitate proper insertion and placement of the appropriately-sized cannula within the venous vessel for cardiopulmonary bypass.
