Intended purpose
Facilitate the placement of balloon dilatation catheters or other interventional therapeutic devices during PTCA and/or PTA.
Functional description
PT2 Guide Wires combine a linear elastic nitinol distal core for steering, and a highly resistant polymer tip to cross tight/complex lesions. This provides access in cases involving tortuosity, tight lesions or multi-vessel disease. The tip retains its shape during interventions. A hydrophilic-coated polymer sleeve facilitates smooth device delivery. Femoral and Brachial Marker Bands reduce fluoro time. It is compatible with the AddWire Extension Wire.
