Intended purpose
The Synchro 2 guidewire is intended for general intravascular use, including neurovasculature and peripheral vasculature. It can also be used to selectively introduce and position catheters and other interventional devices within the peripheral and neurovasculature.
Functional description
Synchro 2 is a steerable guidewire with a shapeable tip and is available in straight or pre-shaped versions. The distal portion of the guidewire tip is radiopaque. The distal portion of the device is coated with a hydrophilic polymer and the proximal portion is coated with PTFE.
