Intended purpose
Intended to facilitate the placement of balloon dilatation catheters or other interventional therapeutic devices.
Functional description
JUDO 1 Guidewire is a hydrophilic coated, steerable guidewire with a nominal diameter of 0.37 mm, a shapeable Straight Tip and tip load of 1gf. The proximal section of the guidewire is PTFE coated. All models have a hydrophilic coating length of 15 cm and radiopaque length of 3.5 cm and a modified proximal end that permits the attachment of the Stretch Extension Wire. It facilitates the positioning of catheters during diagnostic or interventional procedures.
