Intended purpose
PERI-GUARD is used as a prosthesis for pericardial closure and repair of intracardiac and great vessel defects.
Functional description
Peri-Guard is implanted for use in pericardial closure,intracardiac/great vessel repair or soft tissue repair in a hospital setting. The product is used by the surgeon but may be prepped by a nurse or scrub technician.
