Intended purpose

A thin flexible tube with an inflatable balloon at its distal end intended for insertion into the bronchi. It is intended to inject contrast medium or other medical fluid into respiratory organs. It can also be used for irrigation, hemostasis and retrieval of foreign bodies within the respiratory organs.
