PI sets - Catheter, central venous, peripherally inserted

Intended purpose

To infuse substances and to aspire blood through a flexible tube inserted in the antecubital vein and advanced so that the tip is in a subclavian vein. The proximal end of the tube may be fixed to the patient for long-term use.

Functional description

Peripherally - inserted central venous catheters for venous access, Seldinger conversion sets. These are small sets with devices, guidewire etc used to insert a PICC catheter using the Seldinger insertion technique.
