Vascu PICC - Catheter, central venous, peripherally inserted

Intended purpose

The Vascu-PICC Peripherally Inserted Central Veinous Catheters are designed for short and long-term central venous catheterisation (intravenous administration of fluids, medications, and /or when nutritional therapy is prescribed). This catheter may be inserted via the basilic, cephalic, or median cubital vein.

Functional description

Peripherally inserted central vein catheter having 1 to 3 lumens of various gauges made of soft radiopaque and biocompatible polyurethane material; packaged in a tray with accessories that typically includes a catheter and an introducer used for inserting central venous catheters.
