Intended purpose
A peripherally inserted central venous catheter for neonatal use suitable for long-term catheterization and infusion.
Functional description
The catheter is inserted into peripheral veins. The detachable self compression hub grips onto the metal tube present at the proximal end of the catheter and allows safe connection of an infusion tube. The Microflash Cannula provided with the catheter is used to perform venipuncture.
