PowerPICC with Sherlock 3CG Stylet, Basic Tray - Catheter, central venous, peripherally inserted

Intended purpose

The PowerPICC® catheter is indicated for short or long term peripheral access to the central venous system for intravenous therapy, blood sampling, power injection of contrast media, and allows for central venous pressure monitoring. When used with the Sherlock 3CG* Tip Confirmation System (TCS), the Sherlock 3CG* TPS stylet also provides the placer real-time feedback on catheter tip location and orientation through the use of passive magnets and cardiac electrical signal detection.

Functional description

A family of peripherally inserted central catheters, each PowerPICC® catheter has a kink resistant, reverse tapered design. The Sherlock 3CG* TPS stylet is made of specially-formulated materials designed to aid in the placement of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs). The stylet material provides internal reinforcement to aid in catheter placement.
