Intended purpose
A probing and flushing catheter for the field of ENT or head and neck surgery for atraumatic probing of the Tuba Eustachii regarding the passage as well as the removal of mucus and secretion by flushing with sterile fluid (e.g. sterile isotonic saline solution NaCl O.9%) within the scope of tympanic surgery (tympanoplasty I to III or tympanoscopy) by tympanic introduction into the Tuba Eustachii without the necessity for a nasopharyngeal tube dilatation.
