Palindrome Chronic Catheter Kit - Catheter, haemodialysis, implantable

Intended purpose

The palindrome chronic catheter is intended for acute and chronic hemodialysis,apheresis, and infusion. It may be inserted either percutaneously or by cutdown. Catheters greater than 40cm implant length are indicated for femoral insertion.

Functional description

Catheter kits including a radiopaque, urethane catheter with felt cuff and dual extensions. Each extension has an in-line clamp and luer-lock adapter that is colour coded: red for arterial outflow of blood, blue for venous return. Injection sealing caps are included with the catheter. Kits also include an introducer needle, guidewire, sheath/introducer, tunneler, dilator, syringe, scalpel, surgical dressings and sponges.
