Z2 Guiding Catheter - Catheter, intravascular, guiding

Intended purpose

The Z2 guide catheter is designed to provide a pathway through which therapeutic devices are introduced. The guide catheter is intended to be used in the coronary or peripheral vascular system.

Functional description

The device consists of a luer hub, strain relief, braided shaft, a sleeve and a soft tip. The inner lumen of the cathter is coated with silicone. The outer jacket of the braided shaft and the inner liner is a nylon material. Stainless steel wire is braided over the inner liner. The outer jacket material covers the stainless steel braid. The soft tip is atttached to the distal end of the shaft.
