Intended purpose
The Fargo guiding catheter is intended to facilitate the introduction of micro catheters for therapeutic and diagnostic use.
Functional description
The catheter is a radiopaque, braided, hydrophilic coating surface guiding catheter and is packaged together with a mandrel that is used to shape the distal tip of the catheter and prevent kinking. The high flexibility and navigability with extra supple distal is used to pass through acute curves. The catheter has stability and support due to the tight braiding on the distal end and wide braiding on the proximal end.
