Intended purpose

The guiding catheter is designed to provide a pathway through which therapeutic and diagnostic devices are introduced. The guiding catheter is intended to be used in the coronary or peripheral vascular system.

Functional description

A flexible tube with central lumen, reinforced body with hub & proximal end strain relief, flexible intermediate-tip section & atraumatic distal soft-tip. Part hydrophilic coating. The catheter body has an inner layer & outer layer & stainless steel braiding wire in-between. Supplied without or with 2 in-line side holes. The distal section can have a variety of preformed shapes
