Intended purpose

The MitraClip G4 Steeraable Guide Catheter SGC0705 is intended for the reconstruction of the insufficient mitral valve through tissue approximation

Functional description

The Steerable Guide Catheter is used to introduce the Clip Delivery System into the left side of the heart after crossing the interatrial septum. The Steerable Guide Catheter is also used to position and orient the Clip Delivery System to the appropriate location above the mitral valve.
