Intended purpose

The device is intended for the introduction of the interventional devices into the neurovasculature.

Functional description

A dual mode catheter, having two distinct operational modes. Tracking mode allows the catheter to track in a soft and neurovascular compliant fashion. Support mode increases the catheter’s resistance to bend while maintaining the shape it has assumed residing in the neurovasculature to support interventional devices. The catheter utilizes a dual port luer hub design to facilitate introduction of devices and changing between modes.
