Intended purpose

GuideLiner catheters are used to access discrete regions of the coronary and/or peripheral vasculature and to facilitate placement and exchange of interventional devices to treat complex coronary and/or peripheral disease.

Functional description

A single lumen rapid exchange catheter that may be placed over a standard length guidewire. The larger sizes of GuideLiner catheters are intended to be used within the proximal portions of the coronary vasculature to provide support and/or facilitate use of multiple interventional devices. Two marker bands enable visibility using standard fluoroscopic methods. The catheter is delivered through a guide catheter resulting in an inner diameter approx. 1 Fr smaller than the guide catheter
