Intended purpose
The infusion catheters are single lumen catheters introduced over a guidewire into blood vessels of the peripheral extremities. They are intended to be used short term (typically seven days or less)for the controlled selective infusion of physician-specified pharmacologic or radio contrast media into the general vasculature. The distal tip of the catheter is configured with an integral tri-leaflet valve designed to maximize sidehole infusion. These are single use devices.
