Intended purpose
A peelable introducer is intended for use in the percutaneous insertion of pacing leads or catheters in the venous system. The device is placed using the Seldinger technique. Common use for the product is to provide general venous access for PICC catheters, central venous catheters (cvcs), port catheters, drainage catheters, and pacing leads.
