Intended purpose

The CloverSnare© 4-Loop Vascular Retriever is intended to manipulate or retrieve a foreign body within the central and peripheral circulatory systems by capturing the foreign body in wire loops.

Functional description

Under fluoroscopic imaging, the CloverSnare 4-Loop Vascular Retriever manipulates or retrieves a foreign body (including inferior vena cava filters) from the intended vasculature by capturing the body in wire loops and either repositions the object or retrieves the object through an intravascular sheath. The shape memory properties of the wire loops and ability of the wire loops to be collapsed by the extension of the sheath facilitate the capture of the foreign body.
