Functional description
DURAFIBER Ag PRO Antimicrobial Wound Dressing works through gel formation.Debris and bacteria in wound exudate can be retained within dressing and removed by changing dressing. Silver in dressing has antimicrobial effect, acts on various wound bacteria within dressing. High vertical absorption of exudate into dressing forms a gel,assists in maintaining moist wound environment, supporting autolytic debridement, protects wound edge and surrounding skin from maceration, supporting wound healing.
