DELTA ALUMINA Ceramic Insert - Ceramic acetabular liner

Intended purpose

The ceramic insert is designed to be used in total hip arthroplasty (THA), as the articulating surface to interface with a ceramic femoral head, after insertion into an acetabulum prosthesis shell (acetabular cup).

Functional description

The DELTA ceramic insert is fitted into the acetabular cup (acetabular shell) through a taper connection with outer size in pre-determined groups to match the cup it is chosen to be used with. It is available in different internal diameters and it articulates with the ceramic femoral heads permitting to restore the physiological motion of the hip joint.
