Delta Biolox® Liner - Ceramic acetabular liner

Intended purpose

The inner portion of an acetabulum prosthesis that is made of ceramic material. It provides the articulating surface for the acetabulum prosthesis, after insertion into an acetabulum prosthesis shell, to interface with a femoral head prosthesis as part of a total hip arthroplasty (THA).

Functional description

A prosthesis that that is inserted into the acetabular shell/cup to provide an articulating surface for the femoral head from a femoral stem as part of a THR.
