RIM-LOCK BIOLOX® Delta Ceramic Liners - Ceramic acetabular liner

Intended purpose

A total hip system component intended to provide a bearing surface in the acetabulum. Indications include use in total hip arthroplasty for reduction or relief of pain and/or improved hip function in skeletally mature patients with the following conditions: 1) non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease such as osteoarthritis.

Functional description

The subject devices are a series of ceramic liners composed of BIOLOX® delta alumina matrix composite ceramic in sizes ranging from 28mm to 40mm (inner diameter) and Group A to Group G (outer diameter). This liner insert is used with the PROCOTYL® L acetabular cups.
