Intended purpose

The seleXys hip system inlay ceramys are aluminium-oxide/zirconium-oxide ceramic acetabular inserts that form part of the seleXys hip system that is designed for treating diseased hip joints for primary and revision surgery.

Functional description

The seleXys inlay ceramys is a homogenous mixture of zirconium oxide and aluminium oxide and is designed to be used with the seleXys modular system. The ceramys inlay is used in conjunction with a bionit 2 heads, ceramys heads and ceramys revision heads.
