Acetabular Insert Ceramic (BIOLOX® Delta) - Ceramic acetabular liner

Intended purpose

The modular revision cup system MRS-TITAN Comfort is intended for cementless anchoring in the acetabulum. The aim is the restoration of the physiological joint geometry. - Congenital or acquired hip joint defects - Arthrosis (degenerative, rheumatic) - Already performed and worn joint replacement (revision) or in case of failed operations - Defect of the geometrical centre of rotation - Defects or malfunctions of the hip joint MRS-TITAN Comfort Titanium Acetabular Cups for Ceramic Inserts and the Safety Screw Ceramic - Coated can only be combined with the Acetabular Inserts Ceramic (BIOLOX® delta).

Functional description

Biolox Delta Liner with an external conical shape congruent with the inner surface of the cup; fixation to the cup by means of Morse-type taper. Manufactured from a mix of Alumina and Zirconia Oxide (Al2O3 + ZrO2) and to articulate with a BIOLOX ceramic ball head intended for ceramic on ceramic coupling.
