Clinical management support web-based application software

Intended purpose

The Early Warning Score (EWS) Web Tool is a software application for computing patient scores to assist clinical users in the basic assessment and the ability to recognize early signs of deterioration in patients, thus supporting the patient management and decision-making process. The EWS Web Tool retrieves clinical information from manual inputs and continuous patient monitoring data from compatible Dräger patient monitoring devices. The EWS Web Tool is intended for use in adults, pediatrics and neonates. It is not an alarming device and displays patient scores as supplemental information only on a personal computer (herein after called PC), tablet, or mobile device (e.g., smartphone).
