Vanguard Knee Cruciate Retaining Porous femoral component - Coated knee femur prosthesis

Intended purpose

Chrome/cobalt/molybdenum alloy cruciate retaining femoral component for use in knee joint replacement due to 1) painful and disabled knee joint resulting from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic arthritis where one or more compartments are involved 2) correction of varus, valgus, or posttraumatic deformity 3) correction or revision of unsuccessful osteotomy, arthrodesis, or failure of previous joint replacement procedure The porous coated device is intended for uncemented use.

Functional description

Cruciate retaining porous coated femoral component for use in total knee arthroplasty. The CR femoral component has removable lugs to allow for posterior and distal augment options. This component must be used with a tibial tray component and one of 3 cruciate retaining bearing options.
