LCS Complete TiN Femur - Coated knee femur prosthesis

Intended purpose

The LCS Complete TiN Femur is the femoral component within the LCS Complete Total Knee System and is indicated for non-cemented use in skeletally mature individuals undergoing primary surgery for reconstructing knees damaged as a result of non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease (NIDJD) or either of its composite diagnoses of osteoarthritis and post-traumatic arthritis pathologies.

Functional description

The LCS Complete femoral components are coated in Porocoat (titanium alloy) with a Titanium-Nitride exterior coating used where patient metal sensitivity to Co-Cr is suspected. The geometry of the femoral condylar component matches the tibial bearing component in the major load bearing positions of extension and stance phase flexion. The femoral components are available in right and left configurations.
