TRIATHLON Tritanium Tibial Baseplate Component - Coated knee tibia prosthesis

Intended purpose

A tibial baseplate from the Triathlon Total Knee System, intended for Total Knee Arthroplasty. Indications: Painful, disabling joint disease of the knee resulting from noninflammatory degenerative joint disease; Moderate varus, valgus, or flexion deformity in which the ligamentous structures can be returned to adequate function and stability.

Functional description

A Tibial Baseplate manufactured from Ti-6Al-4V-ELI and CP Titanium powder designed for use with the Triathlon Primary Knee system femoral components, tibial inserts, and patellar components.The underside of the baseplate features a keel and four cruciform pegs. Porous material is located on the underside of the tray and also on the proximal portion of the pegs and keel. Packaged with a Polyetheretherketone Impactor Pad, used to protect the surface only during the tibial impaction, then discarded
