Attune Cementless RP Tibial Base - Coated knee tibia prosthesis

Intended purpose

The ATTUNE® Rotating Platform (RP) Cementless Tibial Base is indicated for cementless use within the ATTUNE Total Knee Replacement System. It is intended for use in skeletally mature patients to replace articulating elements of a damaged knee joint where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components. It is indicated for a severely painful and/or disabled joint (typically due to non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease).

Functional description

The Attune Cementless RP Tibial Base are made from Co-Cr-Mo with fixation surfaces coated in Porocoat for cementless fixation. The flat, polished surface of the tibial bases have a central hole continuous with the hollow stem which receives the spike of the Attune RP inserts.The distal portion of the Cementless RP tibial base has 4 pegs and a central conical medullary stem. The flat surface of the tibial base, the 4 pegs, and the proximal portion of the of the central cone are porous coated.
