Intended purpose

The Equinoxe Preserve Humeral Stem is implanted in the patient's humerus and connects via replicator plate to the humeral head as part of an anatomic total shoulder joint replacement or connects via humeral adapter tray to the humeral liner as part of a reverse total shoulder replacement. The device is indicated for use in skeletally mature individuals with degenerative diseases of the glenohumeral joint where anatomic total arthroplasty or reverse total arthroplasty is determined by the surgeon to be the preferred method of treatment.

Functional description

The Equinoxe Preserve Humeral Stem is implanted in the patient's humerus and connects via replicator plate to the humeral head as part of an anatomic total shoulder joint replacement or connects via humeral adapter tray to the humeral liner as part of a reverse total shoulder replacement. The Preserve humeral stem is made of Ti-6Al-4V ELI and has a titanium plasma spray coating. The Preserve Stem is intended for press-fit application.
