Cochlear Slimline Coil - Cochlear implant system coil

Intended purpose

The coil is intended to be used in combination with other devices as part of a hearing implant system to supply electrical signals and power between a processing unit and a hearing implant.

Functional description

The coils transmit data and power from a Nucleus 7 Series Processing Unit to a compatible implant via a radio frequency link. Cochlear Slimline Coil are compatible with CI600, CI500, CI24RE and CI24 series implants via 5 MHz RF link and Cochlear Slimline Coil (5I) is only compatible with CI600 series implant via 5 MHz RF link.
